Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

1. Introduction

PaceVIO (“PaceVIO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an employee growth and team-building platform for companies and their employees (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Account & company data. Name, work email, role, team assignments, and company information provided when you or your company registers for PaceVIO.
  • Product usage data. Recognitions sent, milestones, pulse survey responses, goals, and growth path activity — the content you and your team create while using the Service.
  • Technical data. IP address, browser type, device information, and log data collected automatically to keep the Service secure and reliable.
3. How we use your information
  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including recognition feeds, pulse checks, milestones, and growth paths.
  • To power AI-assisted features (recognition drafts, pulse summaries, weekly digests) using the content your company generates within the Service.
  • To send transactional email — invites, welcome messages, and digest notifications.
  • To process subscription billing through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
4. Pulse survey responses

Pulse checks are designed to give managers honest, useful signal about team health. Response-level visibility is controlled by your company’s configuration; where anonymity is offered, we do not expose which individual gave which response to managers or company admins.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Other users within your company, as intended by the Service (e.g., recognition posts on your Team Board, milestones visible to managers).
  • Service providers who help us operate the platform — including our email delivery provider, our AI processing infrastructure, and Stripe for billing — under confidentiality obligations.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, only where required by law.
6. Data retention

We retain company and account data for as long as your company maintains an active subscription, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us (see Section 9).

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted connections, hashed credentials, and role-based access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your PaceVIO account.

8. Your choices

You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting your company’s PaceVIO admin or by reaching out to us directly. Company owners and platform administrators can manage data retention and export settings from within the platform.

9. Contact us

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate, we’ll notify company admins directly.
